Amber N. Okafor is an Associate Attorney at Quijano Law Firm, PLLC, where she is dedicated to advocating for immigrants and families seeking protection, stability, and opportunity in the United States. Her practice focuses on humanitarian and family-based immigration matters, representing individuals navigating some of the most vulnerable and life-changing moments of their lives.

 

Ms. Okafor serves as the head of the firm’s Writing Department, overseeing the preparation and development of complex legal briefs, motions, waiver applications, and humanitarian petitions. In this leadership role, she ensures that every filing reflects meticulous legal analysis, strategic advocacy, and compelling storytelling. Her written advocacy plays a critical role in advancing cases involving hardship waivers, protection-based relief, and other discretionary immigration benefits.

 

Prior to becoming an attorney with the firm, Ms. Okafor served as an Immigration Legal Assistant at the Earl Carl Institute for Legal and Social Policy, where she worked closely with individuals and families facing significant immigration challenges. This experience strengthened her commitment to client-centered representation and deepened her understanding of the human impact of immigration law.
